EIS is looking for the Senior Java Developer/Architect for the R&D team to work on the Digital Experience Platform development and enhancement as part of the Product Engineering organization. The Digital Experience Platform enables omni-channel digital applications to communicate with EIS Suite. DXP applications are based on “personas”. DXP is deployed as a facade component and encapsulates core EIS Suite REST APIs and functions.
Other capabilities include: authentication, monitoring, load balancing, caching, request shaping and management, partial response and static response handling.
Responsibilities:
- Work on the architecture design proposals and be hands on with writing source code
- Guide the team during the development process to plan and deliver the backlog items
- Monitor the team’s work and manage risks properly
- Make sure the team follows the accepted quality metrics
- Be proactive and actively participate in the company’s engineering processes and standards improvements
Required skills and experience:
- Expert Java knowledge and skills
- Wide mental outlook and analytical thinking
- REST API design and development experience, familiarity with Open API
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices, tools and approaches
- Upper Intermediate English level
- High education in Math or Computer Science
Desire skills and experience:
- Experience with teams management and development
- Knowledge of Play Framework, Guice, GraphQL
