Kaltura is looking for a leading SQL Server DBA expert that wants to work on complex and diverse DB and Data technologies.
In this role you will:
- Work as part of production team (24*7)
- Work with the latest and greatest data technologies including Relational databases
- Be responsible for uptime, stability, redundancy, capacity, optimization, tuning and visibility of our database technologies
- Design, plan and implement data topologies according to business and professional requirements
- Support R&D on data related topics and PS department
- Research, present and communicate new data technological features
Requirements:
- 2-4 years' experience as MSSQL infrastructure Database Administrator - MUST
- Managing OLTP (production) environments - MUST
- knows to handle and Manage crisis - MUST
- specializing in:
- Always-on – MUST
- System optimizations – MUST
- Query optimizations – MUST (200-400 ms )
- Log-shipping – Advantage
- Partition schema - Advantage
- Proven technical skills and self-learning ability
- Windows PowerShell scripting - Advantage
- strong Experienced with Cloud technologies (AWS, AZURE) - Advantage
- SSIS - Advantage
- Proactive, highly motivated individual with a serious work ethic and goal-oriented approach
