We are currently looking for colleagues to help us reshape the architecture of this project that manages and monitors fleets of SIMs on behalf of multiple countries, with millions of records to track, follow and interrogate.

Who you are

• You are an experienced Big Data developer, passionate about latest technologies;
• You are able to work comfortably in a fast-changing environment on interesting technical challenges;
• You have a passion for efficiency, performance and continuous improvement;
• You enjoy growing and integrating team members and proactively support their continuous improvement;
• You develop, document and test your code.

What you’ll be doing

• Responsible for Spark development, coding, testing and debugging new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software;
• Help us improve the overall system design and architecture;
• Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies.

What you need to know/have

• Experience as software engineer, with strong understanding of OOP, functional programming, typed languages (Java or Scala);
• Experience using data intensive batching/streaming processing frameworks (Spark/Spark StructuredStreaming);
• Expertise with distributed systems and implementation/design for reliability, scalability, availability and performance.
• Experience using Cassandra, Kafka, Elastic Search;
• Familiarity with containerized platform like Docker and Kubernetes;
• Public Cloud Experience is a plus;
• Eagerness to research and become proficient innew technologies.
