Job Description

As an IT integrator within the Operations Business Unit, your role will involve coordinating information needs related to field operations, particularly the strategic and methodological coordination of Information and Communication Services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, evolve, and test computer applications based on prior functional and technical analyses.
• Ensure high-quality development and follow-up of multi-user applications with high availability and visibility.
• Stay updated on technological advancements and propose project-specific adaptations.
• Provide technical insights within your specialized domain.
• Analyze user needs and draft technical documentation.
• Handle maintenance and technical support for applications.
• Offer assistance and coaching to colleagues.
• Work on the full development cycle, from Back-End (Web-Services) to Front-End.

• Contribute to the digital transformation of the Police by implementing secure tools and technologies to address current and future challenges.
• Ensure the cybersecurity of applications and environments.
• Take part in digitization, modernization, and implementation of modern, mobile, secure, and high-performing systems.

Profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
• Proficiency in French with a good passive knowledge of Dutch to work in a multilingual environment (French, Dutch, English).
• Ability to handle stress and maintain discretion.
• Flexibility and a customer-oriented approach.
• Excellent capacity for code optimization, DB queries, bug fixing, and testing.

Essential technical skills:

• PHP, SQL, GIT, DEVOPS, Web Services REST (PHP knowledge).
• Strong grasp of CSS creation and application design.
• Knowledge of Python is advantageous.
• Familiarity with cartography is a plus.
