COMPANY SUMMARY Amware provides fulfillment services to help fast-growing businesses simplify and streamline multi-channel fulfillment. Unlike traditional warehousing companies, Amware provides a single-source fulfillment solution for all sales channels retail, eCommerce and direct sales.  Amware is a high growth warehouse fulfillment and transportation service 3PL, with an energetic management team in the explosive multi-channel fulfillment space, with operations across the United States. POSITION SUMMARY The candidate will be part of a team responsible for all computer operations that support the company. This position will assist in developing solutions ranging in scope and complexity for use throughout the environment to solve a wide variety of needs. The position requires experience with SQL Based Relational Databases, Visual Studio, and general GUI and API systems. It is expected that this individual will have a high degree of creativity and be comfortable working in an environment with competing demands for time and attention. The candidate will be part of a team in designing new systems infrastructure and redeveloping and transitioning clients from older implemented systems into newly developed ones.  Typical activities and responsibilities include: Strong data manipulation skills using tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Transact-SQLAnalyzing and resolving data quality issues and responding to process errors.Programming of the Warehouse management system, Shipping, and Manifesting systems and general operational supporting systemsProgramming SQL stored procedures and Database views to automate various workflows and/or optimize application performanceBuild new or take and improve existing APIs, WMS and supporting systems an improve them to meet new designs and functionality REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Visual Studio, C#, C++, XML, ODBC, .NET JSON/RESTFUL APIExperience with SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS)Competent in SQL Server and database concepts and programmingExcellent oral and written communications skillsExperience in creating Restful APIs and developing systems that communicate via APIsExperience in creating GUI interfacesAbility to multi-task. Self-starter. Ability to operate independentlyWell-organized, detail oriented with excellent follow throughCrystal Reports, SAP Business Objects or other report writing tools PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Science in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience requiredExperience working in a 3PL or like warehouse distribution environment using Warehouse Management systems, ProShip, ADSI, FedEx, UPS, DHL Systems.
