Job DescriptionArm is seeking a Technical Lead Engineer ready to support the development and deployment of Arm based SoC Systems that target FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and ASIC tapeouts You will be in a position to have a major impact enabling and engaging with creative research teams conducting pre-competitive research using Arm technology. What will you be doing: Technical engineering activities to generate and document Research Enablement kits and engage with leading partners to validate the kit's usability Suggesting technical improvements to development, deployment and support activities to increase Arm’s penetration across the academic per-competitive user base Working with Product Management team to provide technical feedback for product specification and marketing collateral generation Partner communication on plans and progress What skills, experience and knowledge is required: Arm based system design and architecture knowledge along with experience in FPGA and ASIC design methodologies and tape outs. software experience with Arm based embedded systems and experience of adapting design flows & methodologies to accommodate novel IP, software or tools. experience collaborating with Project managers to generate realistic executable schedules. experience liaising with customers, partners and remote development teams ability to communicate/understand the needs of innovative researchers hands-on and pragmatic with regards to problem solving. Any of these skills would be an advantage: Experience with cloud based development environments. Application Engineering support gained in a customer facing role with the ability to act as a champion presenting benefits of technical solutions.
