Follow Baker Hughes, a GE company on Twitter @BHGECo, or visit us at Role Summary/Purpose The Sr Identity Management Architect will be responsible for architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of BHGE's Microsoft Active Directory services and programs, supporting enterprise end user, application and server environments. You will be part of a global/diverse team that manages the execution and delivery of a complex, future-oriented, identity and access mgmt. transformation program, while ensuring that the whole active directory solution keeps working per existing design. Essential Responsibilities Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedure Develop & innovate valve & actuator designs to comply with global codes, customer and sales expectations at lowest possible cost Make use of required design tools, such as 3D CAD (SolidWorks), PLM and in-house design calculations Work with Project Management to clearly establish & communicate business goals & customer requirements Be responsible for working with internal & external customers to design products that meet customer, factory, & corporation objectives Author or co-author updates to design practices as required Responsible for designing and maintaining active directory services Expert in breaking down AD-related problems and estimate time for deployment tasks Help in designing interfaces and information exchange between AD service components. Understand business procesess to determine how to optimize both process and utilization of enterprise active directory Define and document functional and technical requirements for integrating new or existing IAM platforms including provisioning, de-provisioning and integration of applications for authentication Maintain alignment of IAM vision with Information Security objectives and business requirements Translate business-like IAM processes into technical requirements and oversee implementation of vendor technology rollouts. Consult with line of business and be resident expert in new projects related to IAM to ensure proper integration into IAM program. Develop trusted relationships and maintain an effective network across the DT organization to ensure alignment with key business initiatives Provide content and deliver status updates for key stakeholders, including but not limited to, Compliance Risk and Cyber Security Leadership team, Product leaders, DT Control Owners. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Minimum 4 years of professional experience in AD domain Eligibility Requirements Must be willing to work out of an office located in Houston, TX Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory architecture, design, and configuration (2008, 2012, and 2016). Experience with Active Directory database maintenance, object backup and restore, disaster recovery, LDAP, Kerberos, and troubleshooting Experience with Active Directory Federated Services and Azure Active Directory Experience in Active Directory Domain restructuring and Trust Management Experience in Group Policy design, management and troubleshooting Experience with Active Directory threat defense and management tools Experience with Multi-Factor technologies Agile, ITIL and Rally experience is a plus Strong IT technical background, solid cyber security skills and great customer focus Location Houston TX 77073 Locations: United States; Texas; HOUSTON GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
