The Civil Aviation Authority is a world leader and the UKs specialist aviation regulator. Based out of Gatwick, with easy public transport links and free parking available on site, this newly created position will suit an intelligent developer who wants to learn from an experienced and close-knit team.  The organisation have recently completed a reorganisation of their Software Engineering function to improve capability and in-source their digital offering. This new role will bolster the technical capability of an increasingly busy and influential function.  They build and maintain software used by both external customers and internal stakeholders. They have a wide remit, and this new role will allow them to truly partner with the business by identifying and suggesting ways to improve systems.  Technologies in use include ASP.NET MVC, C#, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, Azure, Umbraco, Dynamics 365, SharePoint and more. They have embraced automated build and deploy processes so you'll be working in a modern team with a modern mindset.  This position will suit a Software Engineer who wants to build both enterprise software and bespoke applications. You will be working with a Microsoft stack and at least one JavaScript framework. You don't have to be working with the latest technologies, but you will have worked in a fast-paced and delivery focused development team.  In return, you'll get a healthy salary (up to £48,000), 28 days annual leave that increases over time (plus bank holidays), a free onsite gym and a competitive pension plan.
