Job DescriptionJOB PURPOSE As an integral member of our Research team, the Developer & Data Analyst will assist the Data Science team in the design, development, implementation, management, and support of reporting and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and environments, along with the creation of visualizations and other analysis to gain intelligence about the data. You will be required to document business requirements for data analysis and reporting projects, as well as use data visualization and database tools to develop reporting solutions to meet business needs. Using your skills, you will research, benchmark, design, develop and implement ETL processes to transform structured, unstructured and disparate source data into the target data store(s)/warehouse(s)/mart(s). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Use ETL tools to load data store(s)/warehouse(s)/mart(s). Create beautiful and insightful visualizations to present findings to broad audiences. Ensure high availability and performance of enterprise data and frontend environments. Business analysis to gather required system requirements. Data analysis to provide capitalizable insights using mining techniques EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum: University Degree (Bachelors) in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field. An equivalent combination of education and training will be considered Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in data warehouse implementations in Microsoft Azure environments Logical and physical data modeling concepts and performance tuning. Version control systems familiarity (GIT). SQL and RDBMS systems (MS SQL Server and Azure SQL preferably). Ability with ETL tools. Familiarity with SSIS and SSDT are a plus. Programming/scripting in R and Python. QlikSense / QlikView / Power BI / Tableau / Shiny. Analytical mindset, with conceptual and problem-solving abilities. Affined to statistics and quantitative decision-making processes. Good interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in diverse cultural environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities. Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision. Creativity to design innovative solutions to day to day problems. Self-motivated, proactive profile. Advanced English, both verbal and written.
