Job Summary: As a DevOps engineer, embody the principles of DevOps. Participates fully in the software development lifecycle in a multi-million user platform. Provides a reliable and repeatable methodology and process from development to production. Improves platform reliability and reduces customer impacting error conditions. Deploy and operation the platform at scale in a production environment. (TSDB, Prometheus, InfluxDB, Grafana, Splunk, Fluentd, DataDog) Make recommendations for server and instance allocations based on usage (capacity planning, cost optimization) Deploy software to various targetenvironments, including production Perform analysis and benchmarks relating to the software installations; document and publish results Participate in review of catastrophic failures and provide analysis to justify implementing preventative measures via alarms or other contingencies, including redesign Proactive management of systems installations' performance, health and capacity Ensureconsistent platform performances and operations Team-player possessing flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the work done Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent - Engineering, Computer Science - Generally requires 1-3 years related experience Comcast is an EOE/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT employer
