Dr. Max is the leading pharmacy chain in Central Europe. In every country where we are active, Dr. Max is dedicated to improving the level of health care available by guaranteeing access to a broad assortment of medicines and pharmacy services. Pharmacies are currently present in 6 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Italy) with great expansion plans across Europe for the near future. The Group level headquarters Dr. Max BDC is expanding the structure of the IT team, so we are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join us. This is a newly established role which will be a part of our Group E-Commerce IT team and will be responsible for development of our e-commerce solution based on (micro)services and cloud architecture.

Employment form: Full-time work What will be your responsibilities?

• Development of (micro)services in GoLang as part of our e-commerce solution
• Tuning e-commerce platform for the Czech-led pharmacy chain
• Cooperation with a product owner, business analyst, UX specialists, and other developers
• Work within the internal full-stack team responsible for the platform deployed in multiple countries

What do we expect from you?

• 3+ years of working experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of GoLang
• Understanding of APIs (REST, GraphQL), Docker, GIT, HTML, and CSS
• Must be organized, have an eye for detail and be able to put ideas into a tangible form
• Ability to work in an agile-based full-stack team
• Fluent Czech and English is a must
• Willingness to evolve your knowledge, break things and proactively improve the platform

 

What do we appreciate as a plus?

• Experience with E-commerce solutions of a bigger scale is an advantage
• Knowledge of PHP, NodeJS (Vue, Nuxt)
• Kubernetes and Microsoft Azure
• Metrics measuring and tools like Prometheus, Sentry, New relic
