Job Summary The Senior Systems Administrator plans, implements, oversees and maintains the server and network infrastructures and projects. This role will also coordinate with multiple managed service providers. Accountabilities Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure. Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools. Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. Description of Duties and Responsibilities Acquire, configure and maintain development, test and production servers, workstations, desktops, and laptops. Support development, test, and production environment including after-hours support and monitoring server usage and uptime. Interface with vendors to obtain the required equipment and software in a timely manner while ensuring proper audit and budget controls are met. Provide technical and procedural direction to the company for the actual implementation of the computing systems used, as well as interface with internal users, development personnel and other technical staff including managed service providers. Provide direction in complex problem-solving situations and participate in direct interaction with internal staff and external providers as required. Identify process improvement opportunities achievable within EAI. Build and maintain material describing activity levels and possible next steps required for each system. Act as liaison for internal and external communications directly with departments as required. Provide regular status reports and gather requirements from departments and provide input into the infrastructure products that are bought or built. Build and maintain the systems required for development work, internal testing, customer testing, and production environments. Maintain file version consistency across all development servers. Maintain access privileges and account groups as directed by the development team. Design, implement and maintain a consistent backup and disaster recovery plan. Collaborate with operations, QA and third-party data centers to provide technical direction on network topologies, server configurations, hardware/software deployments, firewall configurations and other administrative tasks related to the staging and maintenance of company development, testing, and production servers. Ensure the timely and effective delivery of hardware upgrades, network upgrades, and new configurations.  Document technical requirements, develop and oversee project plans and implement change control procedures. Facilitate design sessions and architectural reviews. Participate in technical advisory roles, as required. Mentor associates and foster a learning and growth environment. Act as an SAP Functional Leader function responsible for managing the requests, review/approval of the access in GRC, SOD conflict resolution as well as the quarterly access review for the SOX SAP Access /SOD controls. Interact with customers at the technical level, as required. Generic Functions Respond for the identification, implementation, evaluation, and updating of the control activities, to ensure the effectiveness in the design and operation of the controls under their charge, as well as the identification, declaration, and remediation of control deficiencies. Ensure that knowledge of the Code of Ethics and Conduct and compliance regulations (Fraud, Corruption, Bribery, Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism) is applied in the performance of its functions and is carried out in its area Respond for the assigned functions by the provisions of the Manual of Delegations or Allocation of Functions and their Guidelines and Matrices, to ensure the proper development and management of budget, assets, income and/or sales, of according to the roles and responsibilities of the area. Ensure compliance with the objectives and goals of Occupational Health, Industrial Safety and Processes and Corporate Social Responsibility. Ensure the knowledge required for the performance of their activities through the development of transfer actions under the methods, mechanisms and corporate tools. Decision Making N/A Requirements: Education/Experience : Bachelors degree in computer engineering (or related area). Technical Competencies: Experience with large data storage SAN, NAS, Cloud storage Experience with Data Center migrations physical and virtualization, Hyper-V, VMware Knowledge of VoIP and Telephony systems Language Ability : Bilingual in both English and Spanish preferred Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Overall Experience Requirement : Three to five years of experience in maintaining and supporting a Microsoft environment including Azure Active Directory, O365, Azure networking and storage Strong record of completed projects across various computing platforms.
