Job Description

As Application Manager you will be responsible for the financial applications of one of the largest Swiss banks as technical contact person after an intensive training phase. As their competent contact, you will understand how to translate requirements into a technical design. Furthermore, you will be continuously involved in new, international customer projects, where you will use your technical experience to shape the architecture and implementation of new projects.

  • Technical responsibility and ensuring ongoing operations, as well as further development of financial applications in the banking environment in Switzerland and Italy in cooperation with the team
  • Interface function of specialist departments (infrastructure, backend, network and sales)
  • Programming of applications within the scope of our customer and product projects
  • Analysis of technical requirements, interface design, integration of technologies and automation of tests
  • Responsibility for high-quality implementation and execution of quality assurance measures
  • Support of project management in conception, planning and implementation of interesting projects
Required Skills:
  • Completed studies (ETH, university or technical college) with focus on (business) science or comparable qualification
  • Several years of development experience with PHP (Symfony / Zend), JavaScript (TypeScript and Vue.js desirable), HTML / CSS and other web technologies 
  • Confident appearance in dealing with customers, distinctive communicative skills, solution- and goal-oriented action
  • Affinity for the banking environment and knowledge of market data desirable
  • Personality with high commitment, quick comprehension and structured approach
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
