The Fidelity Client Solutions Technology organization is looking for a senior software engineer to help to develop new web experiences that provide personalized planning, advice, and services for our customers. Our products and services inspire better futures by helping tens of millions of investors of all ages and affluence levels plan and manage their investments and live the life they desire. As a company, we prioritize the health and well-being of our associates, so this role is remote until it is safe to return to our offices.
6+ years of total industry experience developing applications using any technology
2+ years experience using GraphQL to develop web application backends
2+ years experience with Angular or React to develop frontend experiences
Comfortable working with REST APIs to access and retrieve data
Experience writing automated tests as part of development, , experience with Jest or Cypress is a strong plus
Solid understanding in CI/CD frameworks and tools
Bonus points for AWS experience
Confident working in a fast paced environment and are adaptable to change
Accept customer-first mentality and enjoy developing user-friendly web applications that solve real life problems
Passion for clean, maintainable code and are always looking to improve your engineering skills
See testing as a core part of your development process
Collaborate with your peers through code reviews, pair programming or interactive discussions daily
Confident working remotely, collaborating regularly with your peers through video and chat
