We look forward to reviewing your application .   Position Summary:   Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine and maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss or other financial activities impacting the Hudson Advisors L.P. and its subsidiaries. Essential Functions: ·         Reviews multiple subsidiarys financial information (both foreign and US sourced) ·         General Ledger month-end/quarter-end/year-end close cycles ·         Analyzes, prepares and records monthly journal entries ·         Reviews Accounts Payable activity for coding accuracy at an invoice level and books corrections as necessary in the MATRIX ·         Prepares monthly intercompany entries and analyzes intercompany balances ·         Prepares and reviews monthly expense analysis reports ·         Prepares monthly invoices and monitors collections and receivable balances accordingly ·         Prepare monthly closing packages ·         Analyzes and reconciles payable/receivable activity with the Fund entities on a monthly basis ·         Prepares and analyzes monthly Building and Occupancy, and expense allocation schedules ·         Allocation of information technology cost of services per headcount and user subscription information ·         Update allocations for miscellaneous cost centers per headcount details ·         Assists in the interim/year-end audit of the company by preparing and analyzing schedules and support documentation for external auditors ·         Prepares and analyzes year-end tax package information for the subsidiaries of Hudson Advisors L.P. ·         Performs ad hoc and special projects as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ·         High attention to detail and accountability in analytical assessments ·         Hard-working, detail oriented and committed to producing great end results ·         Experience with foreign currency is also a plus Education: ·         Bachelors Degree in Accounting ·         CPA preferred ·         Masters Degree in Accounting considered a plus Experience: ·         3-5 years accounting work experience, preferably in corporate accounting, including a minimum of 2-4 years of Big Four public accounting experience Certificates / Licenses: ·         CPA preferred Other Skills: ·         Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office Suite) ·   Intermediate/Advanced Excel knowledge, including ability to summarize data via formulas,  lookups, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, etc. ·   Oracle Financials, Hyperion Essbase experience preferred Work Environment: ·   This job operates in a professional office environment ·   This positions hours vary depending on business activity, but are generally 40 or more hours a week Travel Requirements: ·   This positon does not require travel.
