Job Title: Application Developer Location: 10325 Meanley Dr. Address Region: San Diego Postal Code: 92131      What youll be doing as an Application Developer:   Works closely with cross functional project team members to understand and contribute to the technical requirements of the Digital Banking platform and related systems, including preparing technical scope documentation, work effort estimates, and development/deployment task breakdowns.   Works to ensure that Digital solutions are built to offer the best member experience possible, while managing strict operations and regulatory controls around security and data privacy.   Builds and maintains full stack web or mobile applications and microservices hosted by Mission Fed or through vendor SDK(s).   Builds and maintains integrations to relevant third-party systems as needed through Webservice, Single Sign On (SSO) and/or API.   Manages and adheres to stringent control standards and error avoidance methodologies including proper use of development and staging environments, Unit, QA, and UAT test controls, code reviews, and technical documentation compilation.   Works closely with technical teams to build application enhancements, ensuring seamless integration with back-end Core programming, infrastructure, and related systems.   Manages the health of internet and mobile platforms, by working closely with internal teams and 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot and remediate system any code or server related issues.   Ensures quality of all work, including testing functionality with various account and member scenarios, different browsers, mobile devices, and varying UI resolutions.   Actively contributes and makes decisions regarding the overall development of Mission Feds internet and mobile technologies and related marketing strategies and plans.   Demonstrates technical aptitude by staying current with evolving Digital Technology and Fintech trends through independent research, vendor conferences, and collaboration with other developers. Includes, but not limited, to joint architectural design sessions, peer code reviews, and innovation sessions across other departments, credit unions, and technology industry.   Whos qualified to be an Application Developer?   Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is required. Two-year equivalent experience can substitute for every one year of education.   Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in professional web application development, including experience with .NET, Java, and related technologies is required.   Must also have extensive experience with industry standard web and application design, hands-on knowledge of current wireframing, web markup or scripting languages, understanding of dynamic or active web content, experience and understanding of site architecture, database management, and application optimization experience.   Experience setting up development environments, rapidly learning new technologies, applying business models to a application design, familiarity with internet protocols, server configuration, and DNS are all required.     Familiarity with Subversion & TFS for version control and development is a plus. Experience working in an Agile SCRUM or PMI project environment is also a plus. Experience working with Symitar or other credit union Core systems is highly desired.   Software: .NET Framework 4.5+, C#, MVC and ASP.NET, SQL, Java/J2EE Web technologies: CSS/SASS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, and other related technologies Open API standards such as SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, WCF Visual Studio 2010-2017 Team Foundation Server 2015+ Preferred but not required: Drupal CMS, PHP, MySQL Mobile development in iOS and Android SharePoint Designer Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Balsamiq, or other design wireframes and prototype comps Choco, MSI, or other automated deployment methods Static and Dynamic code scanning tools
