We harness the multi-disciplinary expertise across senior management to scope projects out and agree on a project plan with the client. Next, we assemble a delivery team with deep knowledge in relevant fields to provide solutions on a milestone-driven basis to ensure high-quality and speedy delivery. Lastly, we ensure that we transfer the delivery capability to the client team. We also support clients with their digital transformations through our Staff Augmentation program. We bolster their technical team; our experts integrate with existing technical teams to help fill any capability gaps and offer support through their in-depth knowledge in the given field. What you’ll be doing? We've been asked to help a spin-off from a large construction company based in London. They're a startup backed by the parent company to try to disrupt the construction industry; we're helping them get off the ground by introducing modern methodologies and getting a V1 in place. We're really excited by the project as they have financial resources of a multinational, but the dynamism of an SME. We'll be assigning a team of 4 NearFormers to deliver the project, this will be a mixture of front and backend expertise (node/react). Although we work on a remote-first policy, for this assignment we require someone to be onsite with the client 5 days a week. All of the other projects here at NearForm are remote so once the project is complete, we'd be more than happy to reassign you to another project at NearForm. What do we ask of you? 6+ years experience developing at an enterprise level Evidence of real-world delivery of solutions and platforms Experience with a wide variety of open source technologies and tools Fluent English & superb communication skills (written and oral) Located in Europe Availability for short-term travel on a semi-regular basis Experience with: 3+ years of experience with React & Node.js HTML and CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS Best practice and design patterns, such as CSS paradigms (OOCSS, SMACSS, and BEM) Ajax, JSON and RESTful web services Best practice front-end security, familiarity with OWASP top 10 Modern knowledge of front-end performance Build tools such as Gulp, Grunt, Browserify and Webpack Versioning tools, in particular, GIT Browser testing and debugging Cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them Layout aesthetics, responsive design and mobile web development SQL and document-oriented databases What will you get?
