Category: Digital & IT Location: Gentofte, Capital Region of Denmark, DK   Do you have strong competencies within backend software development and experience with cloud technologies? Do you want to work with Novo Nordisk’s Biotech and Rare Disease’s broad product portfolio and challenges from every part of the value chain? Then you might be our new back-end developer!
  The position Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with backend software development and building software applications using Python and AWS cloud technologies. You will be developing and maintaining our data ingestion pipelines, bespoke analytics platform, and the underlying AWS infrastructure on which it all runs. As a person you are very structured, you have experience writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code, as well as refactoring code. We expect an entrepreneurial mindset where you are involved in scoping the problems/opportunities, stakeholder management, and evaluating the output together with line of business. You would be part of our newly established Data & Twin Tech team composed of software developers, engineers, and project managers. The team develops data analytics platforms and digital twins for the rest of the organization. You get the opportunity to collaborate on improving our production processes, with experienced professionals throughout the value chain, including IT-system managers, chemists, and data scientists.
  To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • A master’s degree within Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematical Modelling, or similar.
  • 2 years of work experience either from full time employment or relevant student jobs
  • Required experience in backend software development: Python, Django, NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DocumentDB), Docker, Git, SSH and AWS Cloud technologies (e.g. EG, CDK, FArgate, Codebuild).
  • Optional experience in relational databases: MySQL, MSSQL and PostgreSQL, Airflow, CypressJS, Data processing using ETL tools and Azure DevOps
  • Full professional proficiency in English.

  About the area Novo Nordisk Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Manufacturing Development & Quality Control has its base in Denmark. What other companies call Manufacturing Science & Analytical Technology (MSAT) we call Manufacturing Development.
