Location: Cluj, RO Remote, RO Timisoara, RO Brasov, RO Iasi, RO Bucuresti, RO Sibiu, ROWho we are
Be part of a team of experts operating for our client, for systems strategy and roadmap covering network automation over the following areas: Automated Provisioning Developing on a Python based platform. The platform is integrated with Salesforce APIs to pass requests and outcomes to the network, configuring, de-configuring and updating routers in the network. Cloud Service providers are a key part of the existing integration with several already having been automated through the platform – Azure, AWS, Google. Open Source automation tools are a key part of the architecture and you will be responsible overall for the extension of functionalities and overall design of the software.
What you'll be doing
- Technical implementation of the business requirements (e.g. user stories)
- Delivery of high-quality work results (structure, content, form)
- Introduces new technical user stories to implement technical and architectural measures
- Network automation software development, including all related documentation (code comments, repositories, version control)
- Liaising with the Salesforce development team in order to develop appropriate interfaces between SFDC and live network platforms SME for Python programming
- Assisting in evaluating 3rd party network automation tools, including interfaces between those tools and existing systems
- Ensure following of the ISMS Secure development practices as applicable
What you'll bring along:
- A degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar (Bachelor/Master)
- A minimum of 5 years demonstrable experience in a similar role is required
- Strong Python Skills and extensive experience within the Python ecosystem
- Knowledge of Regular Expressions, Scripting (bash, tcl, expect) – advanced level
- Knowledge of SOAP, REST API development – intermediate level
- Knowledge of Networking knowledge, Database knowledge - intermediate level
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt) is desirable
- Strong analytic, creative, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience of working in an Agile (SCRUM) environment
- Ability to write clean and efficient code
- Good spoken and written English (B1 and higher)
