Referred to as Java Competence Center, we co-create and co-accelerate with key players in any field. Without being limited to any business unit, we demonstrated our deep Java development expertise by delivering SaaS platforms in various domains; Web Applications in e-Commerce, Automotive, Telco, Insurance, Banking and Public sector, even Big data and scientific applications. Our current emphasis lies on PaaS solutions, with a specific focus on Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift, AWS, and Cloud Foundry. With the increasing demand for Microservices projects, we have created a reference architecture for our major clients, researched various frameworks, and identified the ones that are highly sought after by the large enterprises we collaborate with

 

Due to it's succefsful maket presence in Romania over the years, our client offers services ranging from application management to process integration to customized developments. Two existing projects with Frontend written in ExtJS, which are to be switched to Angular in the future, are targeted in these current available positions:

• One subproduct that ensures that the processes and IT functionalities for providing and generating vehicle-specific CO2, consumption and range data are set up.
• “Official technical data” refers to all vehicle data that is defined externally by the vehicle projects for uniform communication.

 

What you'll be doing

• Regular activities throughout the software development cycle, including requirements engineering, software and system design, implementation, testing, documentation
• Focus on Backend development using Java (Zulu Enterprise OpenJDK V. 11.x), Jakarta 8 (JEE), Junit, Apache POI, Maven, Docker
• Ensure that the team follows best practices for backend development
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with standards
• Perform code reviews, and adhere to coding & branching principles
• Engage in knowledge sharing sessions with peers from similar projects

What you'll bring along

 

• Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in a software engineering-related discipline (preferably in Computer Science); or equivalent experience
• Having 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
• Understanding of Java (Zulu Enterprise OpenJDK V. 11.x), Jakarta 8 (JEE), Junit, Apache POI, Maven, Docker
• Experience with Frontend frameworks: Angular, Ext JS
• Experience working with Databases: Oracle, SQL, Flyway
• Experience using CI/CD: Github Actions, Jenkins
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
Excellent command of both spoken and written German
