As a technologist, you are responsible for the full stack of applications and the full development life cycle, granting a lot of ownership. Collaborating with our traders, your software can be deployed in production the same day providing immediate results. Latency is crucial, which is why we make use of FPGAs to ensure fast execution. What you’ll do Work in a team of FPGA hardware and software engineers designing and maintaining the fastest and most reliable trading systems in the world; Participate in a respectful and friendly engineering environment focused on continuous improvement; Be responsible for producing highly-reliable FPGA designs with a no-compromise attitude toward obtaining the lowest latency possible; Help define the evolution of our hardware platform; Find simple solutions to complex problems. What you’ll need An open, collaborative, self-critical attitude and willingness to learn from your mistakes; A university degree, preferably in Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering; Extensive experience designing for large FPGAs in a hardware description language; Ideally, experience creating high-performance networking stacks on FPGAs and working with internet and proprietary protocols; Ideally, significant experience working with multi-gigabit transceivers; A desire to understand how the systems you build fit into our trading activities.
