Job DescriptionTrend Micro is seeking an outstanding Technical Project Manager to coordinate enterprise software and hardware projects for our Tipping Point R&D team. We operate in an Agile software development environment and you will be responsible for organizing, facilitating, and driving to completion the activities related to various R&D projects as well as product launch activities. Duties & Responsibilities Project / Release Management of R&D projects which involve both hardware and software components Facilitate Agile ceremonies as needed (standups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, etc.) Manage multiple projects with activities, deliverables, and interdependencies across various internal and remote product development teams simultaneously Track project deliverables and schedules, with a strong focus on measurement, analysis, and reporting Proactively identify potential project risks and issues and develop strategies to mitigate and track them to resolution Communicate effectively with all stakeholders across the organization Define and facilitate ongoing process improvement Loves to work on a great cross-functional team collaborating effectively with various groups to understand business objectives, customer needs and gaps, and deliver on team objectives Has a proactive, customer-centric approach to addressing project challenges to ensure high-quality product releases Qualifications/Requirements 5+ years experience in software project management (hardware a plus) Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience Strong experience with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum Master experience a strong plus) Experience with Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) Possesses a strong technical aptitude with attention to detail Exceptional communication, presentation, and motivational skills Strong desire to serve our customers, teams, and the business Excellent listener and highly skilled in building and maintaining both internal and external relationships Adept at conflict resolution, understanding team dynamics, and facilitating collaboration to find solutions Preferred Qualifications Experience with enterprise security and related technologies Experience with Cloud computing, specifically AWS and/or Azure Experience with obtaining and maintaining federal certifications for products including Common Criteria, FIPS, and DoDIN APL Prior experience in developing or delivering and supporting software products in non-project management roles (development, quality assurance, support, etc.) About Trend Micro Austin The Tipping Point R&D team is comprised of highly effective small teams that take ownership for various areas of our product and services.
