We are looking for a junior developer with knowledge of the Python ecosystem and with passion to learn. You would be working with experienced developers to build and operate cloud backend services supporting the WithSecure Elements product. You will be primarily responsible for services implemented as Python applications running on AWS EC2 instances, AWS ECS containers and in AWS Lambda functions with AWS DynamoDB as storage. The services are distributed, serve high traffic, and meet high availability requirements.

You would be learning about the cyber security domain and grow your AWS skills. You would be working at the WithSecure Helsinki office in Finland or at the Poznan office in Poland in an international team having people from different backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on backend development, using Python and AWS Cloud Services, together with the rest of the team.
• Doing modern DevOps and test automation practices.
• Creating and reviewing code changes.
• Participating in planning of iterations and designing of new solutions.
• Participating in day-to-day operational duties with the rest of the team.

• Knowledge of the Python ecosystem.
• Familiarity of AWS.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
• Curiosity and willingness to constantly learn.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• A team player personality.

Bonus points

• NodeJS experience.
• Infra as code, CloudFormation experience.
