About:

Our state-of-the-art vision technology is designed for counting sea lice and enabling fisheries to make informed decisions about the health and welfare of their stock in real time. This technology helps monitor aquatic environments efficiently, ensuring the highest standards of care and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance Java applications;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features;
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code;
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members;
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues;
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment;
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions are current and competitive.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development;
• Proficiency in Java 11;
• Strong experience with microservices architecture;
• Expertise in Spring (MVC, Data, Security);
• Proficiency in Hibernate or JooQ;
• Experience with AWS services, including S3, SQS, and Lambda;
• Strong knowledge of MySQL;
• Experience with JUnit and Mockito for testing;
• Proficiency in using Docker and Testcontainers;
• Experience with Maven for project management;
• Advanced level of English, both written and spoken.

Would be a plus:

• Experience with MongoDB;
• Knowledge of Redis.
