Experienced developer with data management skills

We’re looking for a talented Python developer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for expanding our data lake with relevant information, building data products that provide valuable insights, and developing automation solutions to streamline our business processes.

You’ll be working in the Data & Intelligent Tech team at Egmont, a leading Nordic media group consisting of more than 150 companies and brands which, each in their own way, create stories and experiences that are important to people and society. All of Egmont is a foundation where part of our profits is used to help children and youth at risk.

Who we are
You’ll be part of a dynamic team of 8 in the heart of Copenhagen working with business automation, data management and AI/ML. We run our projects agile-style and take pride in owning our work from start to finish. It’s not just about work though – we are a part of Egmont IT, a social department, who enjoys everything from Friday drinks to badminton.

What you will do

• Develop business solutions primarily in Python – from idea to production
• Support and maintain existing solutions - ‘you build it, you run it’.
• Drive our expanding data lake
• Collaborate across teams and communicate with stakeholders
• Share your knowledge and keep the team and the company tech-savvy.
• Everybody’s favorite thing: Documentation

Who you are

• Skilled Python programmer with 3+ years of work experience
• Strong in managing and making sense of piles of data.
• Holds a MSc degree in Computer Science, Data Science or similar
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
