The Technology Platforms Services teams manage the foundational platforms that our product teams consume to build, deploy and host scalable and reliable products and services. The platforms consist of our Private and Public cloud offerings while also offering 24/7 operations monitoring and support to maximize uptime for ATPCO products. You will work with the local development team and the global operations team in supporting CI/CD initiatives in AWS. The team is building a comprehensive distributed computation system capable of processing huge amounts of industry data in real time; requests will be served through APIs inter-operating with ATPCO's core application suite to enhance the rapid scaling of retail content.
ATPCO is the data warehouse of airfare pricing information for airlines, global distribution systems (GDS), online travel agents, and other computer reservation systems. We take pride in enabling the distribution of airfare content through multiple channels, providing smart connections between airlines, distributors, sellers, and flight shoppers. We make this process more efficient by permitting each airline to submit and distribute its information through their systems, delivering a single source of fare-related data.
The Ideal candidate:
-Experience maintaining applications on AWS
-Is passionate about automating repeatable tasks
-Knowledge of CI/CD automation pipelines
-Is a curious problem solver
-Is comfortable working with matrixed distributed teams
-Experience working with Red hat OpenShift Platform and assisting with application teams with operational support activities
-Experience developing automation pipelines for languages like Go, Rust, Java, Angular, Node, Groovy
