We are looking for smart, dynamic and intuitive people to join our growing team of technology professionals and industry experts. We are building an enterprise BI/Reporting module. This is a position that will enable us to write frameworks and its implementations for streaming and transforming high volume data among different databases. Responsibilities:
- Designing Domain Specific Language (DSL) framework and its implementation for streaming and transforming data among different databases (Cassandra, Hive, Snowflake, etc.)
- Building and deploying scalable and reliable data pipelines to move large amounts of data
- Applying technologies like ANTLR grammar and visitor pattern to DSL
- New feature development and bug fixing for the existing functionality
- Participation in unit, integration, automation and functional testing
- Code review and contribution to architecture and design documents prepared by architects
- Interaction with business analysts, system architects and quality assurance to ensure the finalized requirements are clear, concise, comprehensive, unambiguous, and well-documented
Requirements:
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in programming technologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Must master the following skills and technologies:
- Java Core
- Apache Spark
- ANTLR
- OOP
- Experience with Big Data, relational databases
- SQL
- Maven
- At least Intermediate English level
The following skills would be a plus:
- Scala
- Hadoop
- Apache Hive
- Apache Kafka
- Cassandra
- Azure, AWS cloud technologies
- Experience in Insurance
