Project description

We are looking for the star Python Developer who is not afraid of work and challenges! Gladly becoming a partner with famous financial institution, we are gathering a team of professionals with wide range of skills to successfully deliver business value to the client. T-shade concept of people is the one we follow in the hiring process, but let's talk about the project itself.
Our client is one of leaders in Financial Market and looking for strengthening its front-tier risk calculation and management. It involves a lot of different sub-systems to get integrated and make them working as the one meeting high quality standards including performance and robustness.
Technology stack we are targeting at is primarily Python (Java - secondary).
The engineers will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to build analytical financial models calculating various inputs to bank's business such as credit / counterparty / front-office risks.

Skills required: solid core python, multithreading and -tasking, asyncio, pandas and NumPy, hands-on with API engineering, performance optimization, ideally grid computing (Spark and alike), banking domain knowledge (ideally credit risks, risk engines, etc.)

Responsibilities

Development and testing of business requirements

Able to understand business requirements & make technical backlog stories for self & others.

Work in team, where everyone has different technical skills. Hence open to listening ideas & explain your ideas.

Understand business need and contribute to sprint backlog, stories writing/grooming.

Skills

Must have

8+ years engineering experience

6+ years of experience with Python (including frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask)

Solid financial domain experience (banking or hedge founds)

REST API (incl. Enterprise Authentication and Authentication)

Using Message Brokers (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar)

Experience with Cloud and Elastic Compute (e.g. AWS EC2)

Hands-on experience with distributed caching (e.g. Redis, Hazelcast, etc.)

Unit tests & Integration tests, using JUnit/Mockito

Nice to have

Microservice Architecture

Java, Spring Boot

Knowledge of RDBMS architectures and database tooling, especially for Oracle or SQL Server

Basic Linux tooling and administration: package installation and tooling, shell scripting, managing file systems

Knowledge of Ansible

Big data and reporting

Basic understanding & use of API Security patterns
