Senior JavaScript Developer

We are looking for an experienced javascript / frontend developer who wants to join our Frontend Team delivering a great user experience for our clients in their journey to discover the perfect item in our extensive catalog. You will be working together with our engineers and product managers implementing flows and user interfaces that will conceal the complexity of this discovery process.

 

At Vivre we see our technology as the main ingredient in our effort to build a complex business system to serve millions of clients in our 9 markets (Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Croatia, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Greece and more to come). Our technology facilitates the sourcing of over 1 million product SKUs from thousands of suppliers/vendors across Europe, the logistics of getting them from supplier to our clients door and everything in between.

Whats under the hood @ Vivre Frontend - you should have experience in most of these:

 

 

 

JavaScript - advanced level (ES6 / TypeScript would be nice);

 

 

 

Node.js / Express / SSR - advanced knowledge is important;

 

 

 

We are running on Vue.js and vuex state management - advanced knowledge may be important;

 

 

 

Proficient in consuming REST APIs;

 

 

 

Understanding of HTTP and client server interactions;

 

 

 

Understanding of OOP and data structures;

 

 

 

HTML/CSS/SCSS - advanced knowledge;Media queries / responsive design;

 

 

 

Bootstrap - basic knowledge (it's a plus if you worked with some other UI libraries - material design);

 

 

 

Webpack / Gulp - basic knowledge;

 

 

 

NPM packages - advanced knowledge;

 

 

 

Git - intermediate / advanced knowledge;

 

 

 

Minimal knowledge of shell scripting.
