The client is one of the UK’s leading travel insurance providers in the UK; they also can take care of as much or as little of the travel insurance client lifecycle as their partners require from sales, claims and assistance to product, underwriting and more.Endava is looking to shape and deliver this new digital platform, in order to help the client to increase revenues several times over. This will be achieved by improving and scaling current products, as well as introducing 3-4 new insurance products. For the current product offering, the client wants customers to experience the best travel claims experience in the world (flight, personal belongings and medical emergency assistance).Job responsibilitiesThe typical profile would be of a solution quality challenged developer. Willing to work on the application front-end (one of Angular/React/View.js) as well as the micro-services laying beneath. Relational databases need to be of no secret to him/her but other database engines such as graph databases or no-SQL could also come into play.Most likely, development/deployment will be a mix of cloud and on-premises.A BPM tool (of our choice) is to be used for shaping up the linear but comprehensive claim and assistance flows. There is also an AI side of the story: COR service integration, translation services, chatbot etc.Mandatory skills:
- Very good understanding of OOP concepts;
- .NET Core;
- REST API development;
- Cloud development;
- Relational/Non-relational databases;
- Focus on quality, experience with unit testing frameworks;
- Great communication and problem-solving skills;
