You will design, build, and operate intelligent systems that support data-driven decision-making, while ensuring alignment with data governance standards and the EU AI Act.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will be responsible for:Design, train, and deploy machine learning models and AI applications, including LLMs and generative AI, across a range of real-world use casesIntegrate generative AI APIs and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for targeted applicationsBuild and optimize ML classifiers through rigorous feature selection and algorithm tuningContribute to the improvement and systematic evaluation of machine translation (MT) engines, applying quality metrics such as BLEU scoresCollaborate with data stewards to define data governance rules, quality controls, and bias mitigation strategiesDesign technical architectures for NLP/ML/AI solutions and coordinate their delivery with engineering teamsImplement MLOps workflows (CI/CD/CD) for model versioning, deployment, monitoring, and retrainingProduce technical documentation and communicate AI concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersEnsure compliance with data protection regulations and the requirements of the EU AI ActTo excel in this role, you'll need:Strong proficiency in Python and R, along with key AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, SpaCy, and NLTKSolid understanding of ML algorithms (SVM, Neural Networks, Decision Forests) and deep knowledge of generative AI and large language modelsHands-on experience with cloud model training platforms such as AWS SageMaker or Azure Machine Learning StudioFamiliarity with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and cloud AI platforms (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Studio)Experience with MLOps tooling (MLflow, Kubeflow) and responsible AI practices (bias detection via IBM AIF360, Fairlearn; explainability via SHAP, LIME)Working knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and data visualization tools (D3.js, GGplot)Good applied statistics skills and a data-driven mindsetStrong communication skills in English, French is a plusNice to have:One of the following or an equivalent: AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty, Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate, or SAS Certified Professional AI and Machine Learning
