Youll find a friendly, supportive environment that celebrates creativity, growth, and a shared passion for building worldclass realtime media experiences.Your ImpactBring new realtime media features to life based on product requirements.Perform peer code reviews and automate development workflows and quality gates.Participate in agile ceremonies including daily standups, planning, releases, and retrospectives.Collaborate across teams to broaden technical and soft skills through training and mentoring.Minimum Qualifications7+ years of professional software development experience and a MSc (or equivalent) in Software Engineering or a related field.Proficiency in C/C++ with strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.Experience building native applications on Windows, macOS/iOS, Android (NDK), or Linux.Experience with media streaming and relevant protocols for realtime applications.Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.Uses AI responsibly to accelerate development.Critically reviews AI-generated code before using it.Preferred QualificationsExperience designing crossplatform solutions using appropriate patterns and build tools.Handson with public cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).Experience with closetorealtime systems and performancesensitive code paths.Comfort with incremental development, testing, and A/B testing in production.Collaborative, friendly, and selfdirected; eager to learn and share knowledge.Steers AI effectively via context and prompt design.CollabHiringWhy Cisco?At Cisco, were revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era and beyond.
