Company Description

About the project:

Our client provides integrated, data-driven solutions that helps inspire, attract and win ideal visitors for any destination (DMO=Destination Marketing Organization) from any predefined origin market. Our client helps to DMO-s to spend their marketing/ad budget on the "most" effective manner, applying campaigns, targeting the most promising users.

Our client receives several types of data from the partners directly/nondirectly related to the campaigns. It is a very important requirement for any DMO to see these kind of data during the campaign and also the count of visitors attributed to the ad campaigns.

 

Job Description

As a Developer on this particular project You will develop an infrastructure to monitor the quality and availability of data sources, track data-lineage, and provide consistent data. You’ll be dealing with data volumes up to100k events/second,which should be processed in near real-time. You will also be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of data processing pipelines.

Tech stack:

  • Scala/Spark
  • GCP, Azure, AWS, Snowflake
  • SQL
  • Data processing frameworks (such as Spark, Beam, Flink)
  • Tableau for reporting purposes
  • Atlassian products for process management and knowledge sharing

If you have worked with the above mentioned technologies and you have big data experience working with petabytes of data on a daily basis, do not hesitate to apply!

Some Further Practical Details:

Start date: As soon as possible, but if you currently work somewhere and have a notice period, it’s still fine, we will wait for the right person!

Home office now: Right now, we are working from home, going to the office is optional. Probably, in the beginning, it would make sense for you to come at least a couple of days per week, but this is up to discussion once we get started.
