You would join a central organization that provides end-to-end toolchains to all Amadeus development units and fostering the adoption of modern development tools and services, as well as CI/CD best practices.

We are part of a core group, supporting applications through continuous integration/deployment and cloud migration journeys.
Through the agile train, approximately 130 members work to provide the best Amadeus product development experience. Reducing time to market, increasing product quality, benefiting from state-of-the-art technology while improving developer satisfaction requires a solid organization and a common working method.
As a Software developer, you will play a major role in providing a C++/Java development environment and compilation tools to the Amadeus Engineering community (approximately 10,000 developers).

Your Main Responsibilities

Common accountabilities:

As a member of our technical team, you will assume the role of experienced developer. You will participate in the design and improvement of our internal C/C++ build tools and development infrastructure. You will be involved in extending the team's services by providing your expertise on Java build tools and assisting with programming.

Specific accountabilities:

• Design and enhance in-house build tools to streamline development processes and to enhance the local development experience.

• Provide support to our customers who are Amadeus developers.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration into the development workflow.

• Participation in the validation/acceptance phase of the product cycle ensuring the fine-tuning necessary to finalize the product.

• Document new features or update existing ones for our worldwide users.

About the ideal candidate:

• Proven experience as Python developer with a strong technical background.

• GNU/Linux C++ compilation: concepts of dependencies management, libraries linking, etc...

• Java build tools knowledge is a plus for this mission.

• GNU/Linux systems and Linux shell scripting

• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a strong customer-centric mindset.

• Familiar with working in Agile mode / Scaling Agile Framework (SAFE)

• Proactive with a ‘can-do’ attitude

• Fluent in written and verbal English
